Charity Shops Rock Project

Over the previous few weeks I've been working on a new project about which I'm really excited.

This involved seeking out the best of a range of clothes available from an unexpected source- the charity shops around where I live in Nottingham- and creating a fashion spread using only these items.
For a long time I've been using charity shops as a source of fashion fun and inspiration- they often offer a selection of beautiful, unique and unexpected clothes which always surprise me.
Their great price is also a factor which makes things a lot more enjoyable- being young and skint it would be really hard to experiment with my look if every time I had to shell out in one of the homogenized and (often) unoriginal stores on the High Street.
It's an old maxim that money can't buy style and this is what we set out to prove by borrowing a selection of clothes from Save the Children and Barnardos in Nottingham.

The results will appear asap, until then I strongly encourage you to start looking in charity shops, you might just surprise yourself ;)
